Luke Doddington is a Traditional Builder who specialises in lime-work.
With extensive experience in a range of building methods, Luke has worked for a number of years constructing and repairing buildings across the South West.
In addition to his lime-work, Luke frequently works alongside other local Craftsmen in the construction of timber-framed buildings as well as on joinery projects.
Other Heritage Projects
When he’s not working with Lime, Luke spends his time in his green wood workshop. Keen to keep traditional Crafts Skills alive, he uses a range of hand tools from shave horses to pole lathes.
Alongside woodturning, Luke loves to experiment with historical techniques. Recent projects have included hand staining oak flooring with iron and vinegar and the creation of natural plaster pigments from locally sourced stone.
